Inner Voice


There are many different types of emotions like happiness, sadness, disgust, fear, surprise, pride, embarrassment, shame, excitement, anger, etc. that influence how we act, perceive and interact with others.

At times, we feel like we are ruled by these emotions and have no control over them.

The decisions we make are mostly influenced by the emotions we are going through at any given moment.

These combinations of emotions, experiences, situations become our inner voice.

Most of the times we confuse other’s voices with our inner voice.

Our inner voice is most active whenever we are alone, in situations of confusion, danger, etc.

There’s an old story that we all have 2 inner voices within us and there is always a battle between these 2 voices.

One is Evil. Emotions like anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.
The other is good like joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, and truth.”
Which voice will win depends, “The one we feed.”

Most of the time we feed the evil one and hence it becomes more active.

It is our inner voice that eventually becomes our thoughts and ultimately our actions.

The world is full of Naysayers and negativity all around us and we start believing them eventually.

A certain amount of apprehension is natural whenever we start something new but excess of it can be a threat to self-denial and limitation.

There’s an old saying “No one can destroy iron, but its own rust can. Likewise, no one can destroy a person but one’s own Mindset can!”

So it is our responsibility to feed our inner voice with positive thoughts.

Tips to overcome negative thoughts:
1. Smile

The best and the cheapest way is to SMILE.

Smile elevates the mood and relieves stress instantly.

2. Association with Positive People

Surround yourself with positive people, motivational books, etc.

3. Meditate

Relax and shift your focus to something positive.

4. Pamper Yourself

Do activities that make you happy. Go for a movie, shopping, pamper yourself, Spa, hang out with friends, etc.

5. Focus on Future

Don’t let your past failures haunt you.

Understand that failure is a part of Success only, Embrace it and Move on

Our thoughts become our Actions and finally our destiny. It’s up to us what we think and how we Act.
