Raksha means To protect & Bandhan means Bond.
Rakshabandhan is an Indian festival symbolizing the love and bond between brother and sister.
Brothers promise to protect their sisters for their lifetime and sisters pray for their brother’s prosperity and well-being.
This year Rakshabandhan is all the more special as it is on 15th August’2019.
15th August –The Independence Day of India.
The Date which every Indian is proud of.
Independence Day is a day not only to celebrate freedom and Independence but also to remember and pay tribute to all the freedom fighters & soldiers because of whom we all got to celebrate this day.
This 15th August is the 73rd Independence Day.
A Lot of sacrifices were made selflessly by our freedom fighters for the independence of India and our soldiers on the border are still doing umpteen sacrifices with a Smile to protect and maintain independence.
Brothers (Soldiers) standing on Border are celebrating this auspicious festival of Rakshabandhan every day in its true sense as they protect (Raksha) not only their sisters or family members but the nation as a whole.
I dedicate this Rakshabandhan not only to my Brother who has supported me, protected me like a wall but also to all my brothers at the Border who day and night are protecting us as a Nation.
I, on this Rakshabandhan & Independence Day, pray for the health, prosperity and well-being of all my brothers & thank them for their selfless love.
Happy Independence Day & Happy Rakshabandhan!!!
