I always believed that to be successful in life and to earn big, degree plays a vital role.
Even my parents and teachers also taught that study hard, get good grades, take higher education and get a professional degree then only will be able to do something meaningful in life.
But later as I started reading about the successful people and their stories, this learning seemed contradictory.
Many higher degree recipients earn less during their careers than people who dropped out of college. And some people never finished high school make huge impacts and a lot of money.
Examples like Mark Zuckerburg, Dhirubhai Ambani, Bill Gates, Lady Gaga, Thomas Edison and many more are all wildly Successful and that too without college degrees, leave aside professional degrees.
I am not pitching that degrees are useless or worthless but just that they are not mandatory to achieve success.
The Degree makes you Intellectual, not Intelligent.
Learning is significantly different than being educated. Education fills our heads with information, while learning transforms our lives and the world’s applied intelligence.
To become a professional, yes, degree is required but it is not the ground rule of Success.
The Pillars of success like Hard Work, Attitude, Grit, and Passion & Perseverance isn’t learned from textbooks and classrooms.
It’s learned from being out there in the real world facing the challenges and figuring out how to make things work.
Success or Failure in life is independent of formal education and degree.
So just go all out, follow your heart & passion, Give 100%, this is all it takes to be successful.
Did you skip out on college / Professional degree and achieve big success?

Yes, I truly believe that, by only getting a high degrees will not make a person successful. Degree only gives us some knowledge… But application of that knowledge we will get from our experience, presence of mind , confidene and will power. Which can’t be thought through books.
Which is inbuilt in all, we just need to focus & channelise the same in our area of interest..then nobody can stop us from being successful.
